Sensei
Jason Cumine 1st Dan

Jason
begun his training in martial arts at the age of 11 in Karate. He enjoyed
the sparring and the discipline formed his early training style. Jason
moved onto Kung fu, training under Sifu McCarthy in a no nonsense full contact
club, with focus on practical kick and punch work.
In an attempt to better develop himself as an all round martial artist he
spent time in Judo and TKD dojos before finding Ju Jitsu. A single visit
to the Mill Hill Ju jitsu dojo under Sensei Barry Harte, Sensei Nick Brooks and
Sensei Altan Fadil was all that was required to convince him to pursue a path in
Goshin Ryu Jujitsu.
The Hakudakan Ju Jitsu Dojo mixed system of weapon, striking and ground
work offered everything that was required in self – defence.
Though the locks, controls and grappling offered a sport too. Jason
has trained under these instructors for many years at their various mixed and
specialist classes until receiving his Dan grade in Dec 2005.
